Growing up in Ottawa, Stephanie’s passion for health, fitness, and exercise started at a young age playing competitive sports, focusing on trampoline and soccer. As she continued to pursue her passion, she developed a strong interest in how the human body adapts to different activities and overcomes injury. This led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from DalhousieUniversity and become a Registered Kinesiologist shortly after graduating. Driven by her passion for this field, she decided to further her education by obtaining a Master of Professional Kinesiology from the University of Toronto before continuing her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
While at CMCC, she worked as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist delivering personal training, rehabilitation, small group training and exercise classes providing her with hands-on experience in the field while also allowing her to continue her education. Since graduating, Stephanie has received additional certificates, including Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and Complete Concussion Management. With the culmination of her education and hands-on experience, Stephanie has developed a personalized and evidence-based approach to her practice.
After spending 10 years away from Ottawa, Stephanie is happy to have settled in Almonte. She still enjoys playing soccer but can also be found doing anything that keeps her active or outdoors, working out at the gym, running, hiking, or trying to cross-country ski. When not working, she can be found planning her next adventure with her partner, Glenn, or cuddling with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Revy, and cat, Potato.
